Why We Want to Adopt Again

Boat tour of the Toronto Islands
We love being a Mom and Dad, and in the past two years with our daughter Addison we have relished the opportunity to share in the joys of parenting a child. We both also come from and value our big, close-knit families, and we would like to continue that tradition. Stan is so great with kids, always playing and indulging Addison, so being a Dad is right up his alley. And Michelle is a kind and good mother. She has such a great capacity for love and patience. She does not hesitate to support neighbourhood charity events, help out with kids’ birthday parties or provide a listening ear to a friend in need. Addison is so outgoing and loves to play with her friends at school and in her gymnastics class, so I know she would be an adoring big sister to your child. Together, the three of us have an endless supply of hugs to give.
Adoption has always been part of our family plan. Stan is adopted, as is one of my cousins and a close friend of mine, so adoption has always been a part of both of our lives. We’ll raise your child in much the same way we were raised: with a positive outlook toward life, lots of encouragement, lots of love, and an abundance of warm hugs and adoring kisses. We will guide and nurture him or her to grow, thrive and become their unique and special self. We will trust them and give them space to be responsible and make the right decisions. We’ll show them that even when things don’t go as planned, the result can be just as good and sometimes even better.
We believe that families created by adoption are special and should be honoured. Your child will always know their adoption story and the wonderful way we became a family.
