We Would Love to Hear from You
When we met, we were so sure we were right for each other that we moved in together three months later. We have had our share of great and not-so-great days. We have struggled with big challenges such as infertility and everyday disagreements like whose turn it is to make dinner or take out the garbage. (Or who keeps leaving the cap off the toothpaste? Or who keeps leaving their dirty socks on the floor?) It’s not perfect, but we try to keep our relationship strong by sharing our hopes and dreams and, most importantly, making each other laugh. We have been together for 12 years now, and our relationship gets better with each passing day. We are best friends, as well as husband and wife.
For us, parenting means making a promise to raise and nurture your child with a focus on their unique gifts and passions. We see open adoption as the chance for all of us to share your child’s special story with him or her right from the beginning. We look forward to the ongoing emails, pictures, videos, stories and visits that will help develop our relationship with you and celebrate your child’s greatest moments together. Your child can never have too many people who love him or her! And as they grow, they will have the unique opportunity to know and be loved by both their adoptive and birth families. It is important to us that we build an open adoption plan that is comfortable for you and to treat you with kindness, consideration and respect.
