Our Families

Christmas with Michelle's family
We have three sets of experienced grandparents eager to spoil a new grandchild. My parents remarried when I was young, so my family doubled almost overnight. My brother and I gained some great step-parents and a marvellous collection of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. They all live close by, so there are always cousins to play with. My parents have lots of practice with grandchildren, and they have proven with Addison that they know just how to spoil them.
Stan’s parents are just as eager. It’s true. I was adopted into a great home. I was lavished with love and attention. My parents now dote on Addison, and my niece and nephews and are thrilled with our decision to adopt again. Since they live nearby, I know we will continue to benefit from their experience, support and encouragement. Addison, Nana and Papa already have regular Saturday morning play dates that they are excited to share with your child.
Both of my sisters also live very close and have great kids. We’ve spent countless summer afternoons by the pool at both of my sisters’ houses. The cousins are very close and spend lots of time swimming together or playing Guitar Hero. They have seamlessly assimilated Addison into their gang and are teaching her everything they know about laughing and having fun.We believe that growing up with cousins and siblings offers a child a unique and lifetime relationship like no other. Our family cherishes our cousin and sibling relationships, and we are excited to have your child join this one-of-a-kind gang.
Our dog Neo has the run of our house as well as our hearts. He is spoiled rotten. After a long family meeting, he has given us approval to add a new family member. However he has called first dibs on fetch, and he has renewed his oath to protect any new addition from all manner of strange noises and squirrels. He is 13 years old now, is very well behaved and shows no signs of slowing down. Neo is, my loyal companion, Michelle’s best bud and Addison’s fearless protector. He will be as great a friend to your child as he has been to us.
