How We Find Fun

We make the most of our free time, and we can’t wait to show your child how we find fun.On summer weekends, we put on our sun hats and sunglasses and head out in search of adventure. Stan loves to just get in the car and drive in search of an adventure, so we might visit the splash park at the zoo, sail with Grandma and Papa on their boat, or explore the fascinating creatures in the woods near our house. I can’t wait to see what Stan has in mind for our next family camping trip.
Stan also has a green thumb and a gift for landscaping. He believes that all backyards should be beautiful and he can transform plain backyards into breathtaking sanctuaries. He often helps family, friends and neighbours build their dream outdoor space. When I was growing up, my parents encouraged me to work hard and pursue the activities that I enjoyed. I discovered my love for landscaping while working in my brother-in-law’s landscaping company as a teenager, and I’ve had my hands in the soil ever since. This spring, Addison became my assistant, helping me clean up the backyard one leaf at a time.
Michelle also finds hidden beauty through her photography. Buying her a camera a few years ago was the best gift I ever gave her. She loves to take pictures of Neo and Addison’s adventures, beautiful landscapes and children playing. I am sure you will be the happy recipient of many, many photos of your child! Michelle always makes us look great! I think she has a great gift for seeing the best part of the world around her and capturing the moment in a photograph.
We feel that trying new activities both at home and while travelling is a great learning and eye-opening experience. For instance, to prepare for Thanksgiving and Halloween, we took a trip to the Fun Farm and Pumpkin Patch near our home.I got some fantastic pictures of the hay bales, the petting zoo and our search for the perfect pumpkin.We had so much fun, we have decided to make “a trip to the Pumpkin Patch” a traditional Thanksgiving event.
